Vinyl & Aluminum Fencing
A Matchbook Leading to Your Door.
A wood fence that runs into the side of your house is one of the most direct ember-to-structure pathways on a typical property. Embers land in the fence, the fence ignites, and the fire walks straight into your siding. We replace the last five feet of combustible fencing closest to the home with non-combustible inserts that preserve the look of the rest of your fence line.

5 ft
The Zone 0 distance. Combustible fencing inside this envelope must be replaced under the WPH standard.
1 panel
Often enough — we replace just the section attached to the home in most jobs.
0 sparks
Non-combustible inserts don't ignite from ember contact.
What We Retrofit on Your Fence Line.
Targeted replacement of the combustible sections closest to the home, with materials that match the rest of your fence line where possible.
- Removal of the last 5 feet of combustible fence material touching or running parallel to the home
- Installation of a non-combustible panel insert (metal panel, steel mesh, or masonry post)
- Matching post height, color, and finish to the existing fence line where possible
- Photo-documented before/after of every retrofit section
- Coordination with HOA design review where required
