Hold Harmless and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by California law: (a) Cal Building Group, Inc., dba EmberSafe Home, makes no warranty that home-hardening work, recommendations, or certifications will prevent wildfire damage to a property; (b) Customer acknowledges wildfire outcomes depend on factors outside the Company's control; (c) Customer holds harmless and indemnifies the Company from claims arising from wildfire events, except for gross negligence or willful misconduct; (d) Total liability is limited to the amount Customer paid for the services giving rise to the claim; (e) These limitations are material consideration for the services.

Every signed customer contract must contain the same hold harmless and limitation of liability language. The website sets context; the signed contract is the binding agreement.
